Many different groups, departments and individuals have created websites on Pressible. There are currently 392 sites on the Pressible blogging network and 3042 users. It’s interesting to take a look at the different ways that Pressible is being used. The TC Elementary Inclusive Education program uses Pressible to make announcements to students and faculty. Typical announcements include job opportunities, news on workshops and registration information. Another great example of how a program can easily communicate important information through its Pressible site is the TESOL & Applied Linguistics blog.
The department of Arts & Humanities has a great series of blog posts featuring new faculty members. This is a great way for faculty to be introduced to the community.
Not only are academic programs and departments active on Pressible, but so are different Teachers College offices. The Teachers College Admissions Blog writes for prospective TC students. Current students write about their experiences at TC and offer tips on applying to Graduate school.
Individuals also use Pressible to express their thoughts and share their work. J Sheel is using Pressible to share his work with the TC community and beyond.
